My parents live with me and my 92 year old dad said the other day his mother made creamed peas (this after I always serve them ""plain.""). So I searched about.com and used this recipe. I didn't have pimentos, had frozen peas with pearl onions; so I didn't use sliced onions and pimentos. Otherwise, the ingredients were what I had on hand and the recipe was easy to follow. My dad got second helpings!
