I have cooked a lot of roasts, but this was the first one I actually braised. This recipe is very simple, and the roast comes out so tender and juicy. This is simply the best roast I have ever cooked and it will definitely replace my other roast recipes.

I have made this roast for friends and family. The one constant, is the word ""yum"" to all that have tried this roast. I reduce the sauce by about 1/2 and scrape every bit of flavor off the lid before serving.
