I added about a cup of water to the bottom right at the beginning, but otherwise I followed the recipe (without the Liquid Smoke). We used Sweet Baby Ray's Hickory and Brown Sugar BBQ sauce. This recipe was tremendous! And SO easy. We'll be doing it again soon. Perfect for leftovers, too. This was absolutely delicious.

Simple, few ingredients and sensational taste! I used it for a potluck party feeding 50 people and had great response and I cooked 30 lbs of meat with hardly none left. I didn't use the liquid smoke - didn't need it. The taste is awesome and I used Sweet Baby Ray's Original BBQ Sauce.
