Pork Shoulder RecipeOctober 30, 2011 By skycatcher19
Excellent! Purchased Boston Butt Roast on sale, left out the chopped onions - too tired to chop - also used Dr. Pepper in place of water. Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce.

Barbeque Pulled Pork Crock Pot RecipeJuly 06, 2011 By Peggyo327
This was so easy and very tasty. We were having a crowd for 4th of July so I cooked the meat for 6 hours on high the day before and put it in the fridge. Took off all the fat and bone the next day and put it back in the crock pot with sauce and onions for 6 hours on low. It was Perfect! I doubled the recipe and used two crock pots the first day but was able to use only one the day of serving. Peiple asked for the recipe so it was a hit.

I love pulled pork but thought it would be a lot of work to make. You can't go wrong with this recipe. It's very simple and an inexpensive way to feed a lot of family or friends. I substitue Guiness Stout for the water and use Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce. I throw it together in my Crock Pot before going to bed and wake up to the pleasing aroma in the morning.

Pulled PorkOctober 06, 2010 By anmahope
This was a really great recipe; quick to put together and filled the house with a wonderful aroma when we arrived home. My daughter was thrilled and could not wait to eat her meal! The cole slaw was a really nice touch and the pork was spicy but not too hot! The pork was tender and fell apart, the sauce was fabulous! The entire meal was so delicious (enough left over for another meal! Yummy!) I am looking forward to another pulled pork sandwich tomorrow!

Must tryAugust 02, 2010 By littlerd39
I was so tired of paying $10 a lb for bbq pulled pork at a local deli & love crock pot cooking so I googled & found this. It is the recipe of the year!!!!! So easy. Used a pork butt(was told by grocer it was the same as shoulder). Also used a honey BBQ great with or without bun. Will be making again & again!

good but had to tweek a little bitApril 26, 2010 By sknoell
I made this for a party and it was a hit. The only difference is I had to add water an hour or so before serving. In the future, I would leave some of the juice and add the barbecue sauce. The pork absorbed all the liquid and the sauce started to burn. Another option would be to serve in aus jus instead of BBQ if you don't like that flavor. It was a little strong for me but my guests loved it. Served on soft wheat rolls.

QUICK 'N EZ (YOU CAN'T MESS THIS ONE UP)January 27, 2010 By jlh227
The prep time is minutes. The quality of the meal is awsome. This is one of the easiest crowd pleasers. It is very important to have some good fresh rolls. Sometimes we do it with the bbq sauce. Sometimes we do it with relish. Sometimes we do it with sour kraut. No matter which way you choose you can not go wrong.

Simplicity is sometimes just rightDecember 31, 2008 By badmoonrizn
Anyone with a slow cooker, and the right bbq sauce can make this recipe and wind up with awesome results. I made this with a loin roast, home made sauce, and home made slaw. Perfect!!! 5 stars from me.

Really greatDecember 30, 2008 By baylinerma
For a simple and quick to put together pulled pork i thought this was really really great. I usually can't be bothered to leave a comment or much less register for a website to leave a review. However, this recipe made me do it! I made it twice the first week I tried it and have made it twice then since. It's not the ultimate pulled pork but for a really simple recipe with really just 3 steps, its really really good and turns out the same each time. THANK YOU!

Fantastic!!October 12, 2008 By kbrackett1
This recipe was easy to make and your family will love it! The pork is very tender and tasty. I found it was not necessary to add an entire bottle of BBQ sauce to the crock pot. I added about 2/3 of the bottle, saving some to heat and serve with the pork.

Pork RibsJuly 09, 2008 By LorettaBelle
A heat wave here in California, and I had to cook my boneless country style pork ribs for a party. I found this recipe and gave it a try. I cooked them until they were done but not falling apart. I browned on the Weber, and added more sauce to the finish ribs. I use to precook my ribs in my oven, but this way I don't have a hot kitchen. Thanks for the recipe.

New Go To MealJune 28, 2008 By toniknxvll
Easy to make. Easy clean up. And the taste is perfection. We used Corky's bbq sauce. This tasted better than anything I have ever had in a restaurant.

Got 5 Minutes? Dinner's in the Pot!May 01, 2008 By Suzappalooza
So easy and so delicious!! I Tried this recipe using a pork sirloin roast that had virtually no fat on it. It could not have been better. I put it in the crock pot in the morning, added the sauce at lunch, and dinner was done when I got home from work. The pulled pork was totally yummy on a lightly toasted onion bun. I served it with cole slaw and everyone loved it. The only complaint was that my roast should have been bigger so we could have had some leftovers. (I had the roast in the freezer and it was only about 2.5 lbs.).

A very big hit in our house :)February 26, 2008 By mysterystew
We go to local ""Ribfests"" and quite enjoy shredded pork on a bun. I decided to try making the dish at home for supper. Unfortunately I only had enough buns for the guys (hubby and 2 teenage boys) to have one sandwich each - bad mom ;) They asked me to make sure I had more buns next time - one sandwich each was not enough :) The little bit of leftover pork went to work on my husband's sandwich today - this recipe was a HIT - and incredibly simple to make!
