This is one of the best pies that I have ever had I fixed it for Thanksgiving and the hole family loved it it did not last but about 30 min. This is a keeper for my family . I am even taking it to a Christmas party this year.

I brought this pie to Thanksgiving and was praised by my family! The only thing I would recommend is baking it for longer. The middle didn't seem to set very well the first time I tried it, so I popped the second one in for about 20 minutes more and it turned out lovely!

I have made this several times and it always comes out as a hit. I make one modification to the recipe. Instead of the cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. I use allspice and it has a very rich flavor.

I've used this recipe several times, and always had excellent results. I've even had to adapt the recipe to cover two pies, since I'm always sure to give one to a friend.
