    Even Better Than Salty!October 28, 2007 By crazyzeus1
I was out of salt & had a bowl full of pumpkin seeds to roast, so I found this recipe online. I always soak my seeds in water overnight, so I did that, then dried them on a paper towel. Mixed them with the recipe ingredients & spread them on a foil lined cookie sheet. I used 1T sugar in the recipe as well as melted butter instead of oil, then sprinkled sugar on top of the seeds on the cookie sheet. My husband said the house smelled like I was baking cinnamon rolls, and the seeds came out beautiful, tasty, & crunchy. These are even better than the salted pumpkin seeds I usually make. I will make these again for sure!!!
