Thank you so much for this recipe! We had a half a head of cabbage and a few carrots left over after St. Patrick's Day, so I decided to use it to make coleslaw to accompany a chicken dinner. I had every single one of these ingredients on hand already, and I just halved the recipe to accommodate the amount of cabbage I was using. Well that turned out to be plenty. Half this recipe makes four cups of coleslaw! I added a squirt of prepared creamy mustard to help keep the vinegar from separating from the rest of the ingredients. I don't know if anyone has a mayonnaise preference like I do, but I used Duke's and the flavor came out just right. I will definitely be using this recipe again!

This is a great recipe...took it to my family's Christmas party (we eat gumbo) and everyone loved it! Simple ingredients with great flavor. Remember - let the dressing sit in the frig for an hour.

My taste buds are giving this recipe 5 stars! Im using it as called for on a chicken salad recipe. Cant wait to go to the grocery store and make some 'slaw too!

The most difficult part of this recipe is grating or chopping the cabbage. The end result is a scrumptious bowl of cole slaw with a slightly sweet dressing.
