    Great mix!March 24, 2011 By HeidiLynn1
I really enjoyed giving this spice mix a try. As others have said I would add only half salt to begin with and for my taste half the nutmeg as well. The amount the recipe calls for seemed to overwhelm the other ingredience. The recipe was a wonderful starting base for making a mix to my own taste.

This seasoning was excellent. The only thing I would change is to use less salt and sugar. I made blackened talapia and it was great.

Very nice except just a little too salty for my taste. Great results with the salt cut by half- so far we've used it on fish and chicken and it's phenomenal.

The perfect blend of spices!October 20, 2007 By pastryace
I used this on shrimp and it was really good. I made a pineapple mango salsa to go with it and served it over a saffron rice. Nice combination of sweet, spicy, and smoky. The best part about this recipe is that I have every single spice on hand and had enough to double the recipe. I will definitely be using this on chicken, shrimp, and fish.
