Shrimp With Pasta
5 out of 5Fantastic Recipe with a few changesJune 01, 2012

This recipe was SO good. It's light but with an amazing flavor! I used the full box of angel hair pasta (1 lb). I used 6 T. butter, 6 T. of olive oil and 6 T. of garlic. I hate pasta that has dry noodles yet, I like more of a sauce. I served 3 adult servings of noodles and sauce and used it all, so I definitely recommend making a recipe like the one I did. Fantastic, I will definitely make this again!

I made this last night for four adults and two children. I changed the recipe a bit to accomodate 6 people. I used 1 lb. angel hair pasta and 7 cloves of garlic along with 6 tbs of butter and added 6 tb of oilve oil. Only other suggestion I have is boil two pots of water and cook half in each pot to help with the pasta cooking and not sticking together. Once the pasta was cooked I put aside two plates of angel hair pasta with butter for the kids. I used tiger prawns IQF 15-20 washed and cut the tails off. Very Good recipe and everyone enjoyed it. Thanks for listing it. Happy Holidays....

I made this for dinner tonight and it was sooooo good. I double the recipe for my family of 4. I also had to use a thicker pasta(thin spaghetti)because I didn't have angel hair. I highly recommend it!!!

I really did not feel like cooking today and was tired of takeout. So I looked in the fridge, freezer and cabinets to see what ingredients I had. I found this recipe and it corresponded with what I had in stock. This was a quick, easy recipe that my husband and children loved. My only suggestion would be to marinate the shrimp with the garlic and lemon mixture for a few hours or overnight.

I wasn't sure what to make for dinner tonight and I really didn't want take out again. I checked the fridge for what I had and then came across this recipe. I would add a few more shrimp than what the recipe calls for, but other than that it was delicious! It took no time at all and doesn't require a ton of ingredients that no one uses! I will definitely be making this again.

This was prepared on a very hot summer day. Since it's so quick and simple to make, the kitchen never had a chance to heat up. Using the supplies I had on hand, I used regular spaghetti and I had a pound of large shrimp, so I doubled the ingredients for the garlic oil and used a 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese to toss with the spaghetti. I look forward to preparing this dish again.
