This was simple and delicious. My husband raved about it. I put in the same amount of broth as the wine, and probably was a bit generous with the flour and it turned out great. We will certainly make this again.

This recipe was so simply to make. I needed something to make while my family was at the beach. I changed the cooking times a little to simmer on low for about an hour or two. I put the meat (brown and seasoned) in the gravy witht the mushrooms....My family raved about it!! This is a keeper.

""-"" isn't a quantity. I'm all set to make this; no clue how much broth to use. Grrrrrrrr. I hate to be someone who writes a review without trying the recipe--those people make me crazy. But for gosh sakes! It lacks full ingredients.

This sauce was simple to make. I did not use sliced mushrooms, but whole baby portabello's because my family does not care for their texture, but I love them. This way, the gravy still absorbed the mushroom flavor, but was easy to serve mushroom-free. The sauce was delicious. My 1 year old, 4 year old, 7 year old and husband loved it! 10 thumbs up! Because of the ease I could make this, tend to my children from time-to-time, make the rest of my meal without having to ""babysit"" the sauce, and a delicious result, I am giving this recipe a 5-star rating for busy moms who want great meals. Gravy was tasty over the meat as well as potatos.
