Here are some hintsNovember 30, 2010 By Mapman923
I have a garden and have had good luck with rutabagas (maybe TOO much luck), so I'm always on the look-out for something new and found this recipe. By accident I found some things that make it better. 1. Not only is it a great make-ahead recipe, it's actually better left-over. Make it, let it sit in the fridge a few day, then warm it up. 2. Use very tart apples 3. Use rutabagas that have been through a few hard frosts. They are like Brussels sprouts that way.

    Interesting comboJuly 21, 2008 By lizbrad2
This was very good; next time around I would probably add a crumble crust; an interesting tatse & good alternative desert - try vanilla ice cream.
