Bread flour instead of AP flour; Wheatena hot cereal for wheat germ; 1/8 C. Crisco; and 2 Tbls of wheat gluten were added. 2 packages of Rapid Rise yeast for a single rise after kneading and 10 min rest and shaping. The tops were brushed with melted butter from the oven. The hot liquids at 125 degrees were added to all the dry ingredients then mixed for 2 minutes at medium speed. After the eggs were added, it was mixed for 2 minutes at high speed. I used a stand mixer the a paddle blade mixing and the bread hook for a 5 minute knead. It was allowed to rise & bake with a pan of hot water in the oven.

Marvelous BreadSeptember 23, 2008 By stitchinfran
This is some of the best homemade bread I have ever eaten. The texture is wonderful. It is perfect for our family and I highly reccomend it to others who are wanting a healthy bread with no seeds or nuts but tastes every bit as good as the best of them, if not better. I followed the recipe exactly and baked it the exact time specified. I would not change a thing Thanks for sharing such a great recipe.
